The Star Chefs 2009 Salary Survey of restaurant industry professionals is out, and confirms several suspicions: the industry is slowly recovering, chefs in large, food-oriented cities (New York, San Francisco) make more money than chefs elsewhere, and the white men are still making the most cash. Somewhat more surprising? Chefs with culinary degrees on the whole earn less money than chefs with other degrees. [StarChefs.com]
