British chef Heston Blumenthal (whose restaurant The Fat Duck was voted #3 in the world) is set to launch a line of prepared foods for the upmarket grocery chain Waitrose this coming October, including "chilled ready meals, store-cupboard ingredients, bakery goods and puddings." Specifically, it means things like vanilla mayonnaise, beef and kelp pie, Scottish salmon smoked with Lapsong Souchong tea, and Ponzu dressing. [Telegraph]
