Food Trends That Are So Over: Cupcakes, Tuna Tartare, Molten Chocolate Cake

Shine has a list of seven food trends that they have deemed to be over: cupcakes, tuna tartare, bubble tea, truffle salt, communal tables, chipotle chilis, and chocolate lava cake. Like it or not, we don't think cupcakes are going anywhere soon — teenagers are starting to get into them, and Magnolia Bakery just opened a location in Los Angeles, so they seem to be gaining steam, not losing it. Lava cake, on the other hand, seems like so old a trend we almost forgot it existed.
