brawndo.jpgPete Hottelet's company Omni Consumer Products makes fake brands come to life, or as he calls it, "defictionalizes fictional brands," including Brawndo (from Idiocracy), the Tru Blood drink (the TV series True Blood), and the upcoming Stay Puft Marshmallows (Ghostbusters). He said, "This sort of thing is going to grow into a standard practice in the entertainment industry. Right now, marketers have their eyes on the so-called 'third screen' with a focus on mobile.
