A recommendation from the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission would ban setting lobster traps along the East Coast from Cape Cod to Virginia for five years. The ban was proposed in order to allow lobster populations to regrow, but it also pretty much guarantees prices will sky-rocket. Lobstermen: unhappy. [Hartford Courant via Crispy on the Outside]
