Poor Cleveland: first, they lose a certain prominent athlete to sunnier shores, and now one of their most beloved residents has passed away. Comic book artist Harvey Pekar died in his home today at the age of 70. A few years ago, Pekar joined Anthony Bourdain and cookbook author Michael Ruhlman for a rather charming dinner on an episode of No Reservations. They eat at a Polish restaurant, and talk about vegetarianism, pie, and better titles for Ruhlman's books.
