Ex-Oprah chef Art Smith lost 95 pounds over the past year or so by reducing his processed foods intake, exercising more, and eating a lot of salad. Smith, who "doesn't believe in diets," eats six small meals a day, the first of which he calls "The Art Start": oatmeal with berries and an egg white frittata with zucchini. Also, one of his meals is chocolate.
