The Daily Show Tackles the Anti-Obesity Nanny State

The Daily Show filed a news report last night titled "Chubby Chasers that explored the government's anti-obesity initiatives and recommendations. They're like Big Brother! Ridiculing both side of the debate, including a consultant to Michelle Obama's Obesity Task Force, and a representative from the Competitive Enterprise Institute (a public policy organization that promotes "freedom" and "liberty") who ends up comparing the the health initiatives to Nazi Germany: "Michelle Obama's got a vision of this country that she wants to see it become, and she thinks it's her prerogative to impose it on everyone... I think control of food is a code for control of the way that people live."
