Bon Appetit magazine's restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton pondered today whether or not Yelp and "Cit Crits" would ever replace restaurant critics, and no, he doesn't think that "the traditional restaurant column with a named critic is passe." "Cit-Crit" is a term that was coined just last month on Eater, defined as "Any sort of criticism—including but not limited to culinary criticism—executed by non-professional yet rational actors."
