According to WWD, a new food magazine is maybe in the works between Condé Nast and Parade magazine, the newspaper supplement that's also owned by Condé Nast parent Advance Publications. Nothing is set yet, as Parade chief executive officer Jack Haire said that "We are in the final stages of going through the process to decide if we will do it." A decision, however, is expected "in the next week or so."
This would be the first new launch since Condé Nast hired Carol Smith to oversee the Bon Appetit and Gourmet brands, who once said, "What’s the difference between food and fashion? Not much."
