The Garbage Burger at McGuire's Irish Pub Uses Every Possible Ingredient

New, 6 comments

Last week Food Network premiered Outrageous Food with host Aaron McCargo Jr., and it was pretty much an hour-long ripoff of Man v Food (eating contests! crazy food!) and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (local color! profiles of chefs and cooks working!). The whole angle (as can be deduced from the show's title) is showcasing food that is often-times "big" or "crazy" or just plain "huh?" Case in point: The Garbage Burger at McGuire's Irish Pub in Pensacola, Florida that gets every topping they have in the house. We're gonna need a separate paragraph for the ingredients:

The Garbage Burger: 3/4 lb grilled black angus hamburger, liverwurst, corned beef, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, jalapenos, black olives, banana peppers, pineapple rings, wasabi, guacamole, pepperonis, chili, sour cream, marinara, barbecue sauce, peanut butter, tomato, red onion, five types of cheese, bacon, remoulade sauce, ice cream, hot fudge, and a maraschino cherry on top with an Irish flag in it. It's so top-heavy they need to hold it up with a stick.

Even the restaurant's menu (pdf) they reasonably describe it as "absolutely disgusting." Which at only $9.99 is a relative bargain?
