No electrolytes for you! A bill sponsored by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger prohibiting sales of sugar-sweetened sports drinks in public middle schools and high schools (ie Gatorade) was passed Thursday by the California state Senate. Now the bill moves to the state Assembly where it will likely pass. However! Sports teams will be able to have all the sugary liquid refreshment they want. [CBS via Eater SF]
