Bourdain on Beirut

bourdain-150-a.jpgAnthony Bourdain on what is was like returning to the US after being trapped in Beirut when the Israel-Lebanon conflict broke out, bombings and all: "It was hard to find something to laugh about for a while... And we went home that day and made a baby, my first. I briefly considered naming [her] Beirut." [Newsweek]
