Acknowledging its tormentor, Scripps Networks (the parent company of the Food Network and the upcoming Cooking Channel), to prevent the satirical and often funny Food Network Humor from launching the site Cooking Channel Humor, registered the domain CookingChannelHumor.com back in January (image to the right is of the domain registration details).
And while they were at it, Scripps bought cookingchannelsucks.com as well, with both URLs redirecting to Food Network's website. FNH founder Jillian Madison writes, "Like acquiring that domain name would really keep us from satirizing the Cooking Channel?" No, certainly not.
