Drinking Responsibly

2010_04_binge_drinking.jpgToday the Wall Street Journal looks at how the British government is cracking down on binge drinking. To prevent drinkers from attacking each other with broken pint glasses, there's legislation requiring pubs in certain areas to serve booze in plastic cups on the weekend. Also, Parliament put an end to certain drinking promotions like the "dentist chair" where customers pay to recline and have booze poured down their throats. [WSJ]
