Eater NY was on the scene at last night's Food & Wine Best New Chefs Gala, and got some juicy details on a few new projects, straight from the source. Iron Chef/Top Chef Masters vet Anita Lo will be reopening her flagship restaurant Anissa in Manhattan's West Village next week (it was shuttered by a fire last year). Top Cheffer Eli Kirshtein is also reportedly looking for a space for a new restaruant in NYC's Bowery neighborhood.
A few pieces of media gossip: Apparently the Huffington Post is rolling out a full food-related site next Monday, and Josh Ozersky is rumored to be a guest judge on a new CBS cooking competition show (but what could it be?).
