Today Yelp announced that the site's "favorite" review feature has been completely axed. Now businesses that pay for advertising on the site will no longer be able to pick which review gets the spotlight treatment at the top of their page. Also, the site is now allowing reviews that were once "filtered out" to appear on business pages. So basically, now you'll be able to see every stupid thing that Yelpers say, not just the positive stuff, but the shills and smeary bad reviews too. [Business Insider]
