Missy Chase Lapine, the woman who sued Jessica Seinfeld for allegedly stealing her idea for the book Deceptively Delicious got totally shot down in an appeals court yesterday. After pleading her case, a judge reportedly remarked to Lapine "You make purées and put them in these recipes? That's it?... I don't think one needs much cooking expertise to know this." [NYDN]
