President's Spring Break Ale From Asheville Brewing Company

To commemorate President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama's weekend vacation in Asheville, North Carolina, a local brewery crafted a special "President's Spring Break Ale." All 450 bottles of the Asheville Brewing Company's microbrew are now sold out. Two of bottles of the suds were sent in a care package to the hotel that the first couple stayed at, and according to a manager at the brewery, a Secret Service agent reportedly picked up five more bottles over the weekend.

In the past, the White House has not responded in kind to President-themed microbrews — last February, the feds shut down the production of a "Hop Obama Ale" at a brewery in Brooklyn.

In other Obama dining news, the President and the First Lady had dinner at a local farm-to-table restaurant, The Corner Kitchen, on Saturday night. Barack had the Mahi Mahi.
