NYC Steakhouse Owner William Degel Gets His Own TV Show

The owner of New York City's Uncle Jack's Steakhouse, William Degel, has inked a deal to star in his own reality show for TruTV. Produced by the team behind Extreme Makeover: Home Edtion, the show will follow Degel — who calls himself “New York’s toughest steakhouse boss" — as he manages his three Manhattan restaurants. Previously Degel was featured in a segment on the Biography Channel a few years back, he also shot a short (but completely insane) video for his restaurants (see below). On camera, Degel comes across as a heady mix of Danny DeVito's character in Taxi and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. The working title of the show is "Willies World" although "Jacked Up" and (our pick) "Willionaire" are also under consideration. No air date for the show has been announced yet.
