Paula Deen on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Last night Paula Deen was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and in a segment that was sort of maybe long and uneventful, we did learn something: While making fried chicken in the segment, Deen explains that she keeps rescue chickens, which is like, totally honorable. She tells Kimmel:

The mosquito control in Savannah uses chickens to test mosquitoes, and my little chickens lived their whole lives in a five gallon bucket hanging in the woods with holes in it so mosquitoes could bite them. And the first time their little feet hit the floor is when I bring them home to their chicken coop. They have no idea their mother is Paula Deen, queen of fried chicken!
