New TLC Show Best Food Ever Narrated by John Goodman

Food on TV never stops! On May 3rd, TLC will debut a new six-part food series, Best Food Ever, that will be narrated by none other than John Goodman. Each episode will focus on one specific topic: sandwiches, BBQ, food carts, diners, cheese and bakeries, profiling ten different restaurants and chefs across the country per episode.

Los Angeles, CA – From mouthwatering BBQ to double-stacked sandwiches, America serves up countless creations that vie for the title BEST FOOD EVER, TLC’s new six-part series that takes viewers on a coast-to-coast journey to uncover the best places to satisfy any craving. The series, narrated by John Goodman, premieres Monday May 3 at 10 PM E/P.

The series locates the USA’s tastiest treasures to discover the brains behind the mouthwatering methods and innovative ingredients used in each amazing meal. Each episode of BEST FOOD EVER will count down the country’s top ten food destinations in a specific category, highlighting what makes them the best and exactly who is behind these delectable dishes, while also hearing from the foodies that help propel these establishments into our ranking.

In the premiere episode, “Sensational Sandwiches” viewers take a cross-country tour of supreme American sandwiches. There are mountains of meat in New Jersey that rack over a foot high and feed an entire family? portable almond encrusted chicken perfections in Austin, made accessible in a cone? Philly style upscale one-hundred dollar cheese-steaks made from prime Kobe beef? and down-home rib-sticking hotdog, tamale, and chili sandwiches made famous in Chicago for bringing as much heartburn pleasure as your mother-in-law. This is a hearty road trip crafted with every palette in mind!
