Yesterday, Yum! Brands Inc. signed a $13 million, 10 year deal to be the main sponsor of the arena that will be the new home to University of Louisville basketball. Although the company also owns Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, naturally, to pay homage to their Kentucky roots, they went with the name the KFC Yum! Center. In addition to having the Colonel's insignia on the building (even the roof!), the deal also secures seven different concession areas inside the facility. The stadium is slated to open in November, 2010. Apparently it's already been given a nickname: "The Bucket."
