Violent Femmes Reunion Imperiled By a Wendy's Commercial

Don't expect a Violent Femmes reunion any time soon. Lead singer Gordon Gano licensed their hit "Blister in the Sun" to a Wendy's commercial two years ago, and bassist Brian Ritchie still hasn't forgiven him for it, telling Spinner: "I don't like having my sound misappropriated to sell harmful products, such as fast food... That's not why we made the music. It should not be hijacked."
