Lisa Lillien aka Hungry Girl Hits #1 on NYT Bestseller List

Let's face it, girls are HUNGRY! Girls like to EAT. Amiright? Lisa Lillien's new book Hungry Girl 1-2-3: The Easiest, Most Delicious, Guilt-Free Recipes on the Planet hit number on on the New York Times bestseller list in the paperback advice category. It's an "achievement" in that this is her second book within a year to hit number one (her previous title Hungry Girl: 200 Under 200: 200 Recipes Under 200 Calories hit number one in 2009).

Now, Lillien is not without controversy: A fan of processed foodstuffs, her recipes list ingredients by brand name, which often happen to be advertisers or sponsors. Of course there's the caveat that she "recommends or accepts advertising dollars only from products she personally uses." But who else is in the bestseller list for Paperback Advice? Michael Pollan's Food Rules is at number three, so at least there's the universe-balancing polar opposite.
