Variety reports and Gael Greene confirms that the Starz pay cable network, having teamed up with Robert Lantos' Serendipity Point Films and Rob Lee's Bayonne Entertainment, is "eyeing" her 2006 memoir Insatiable: Tales from a Life of Delicious Excess as the basis for a possible series. The show will be set in New York City during the heady 1970s and 80s, focusing on the "social, cultural, culinary and sexual revolutions" (which means sex, drugs, and chefs). Greene writes: "I expect to be their guide to the New York I knew."
