The dark side of food: On last Friday's episode of Food Revolution, Jamie Oliver wanted to get the ornery local radio host Rod Willis on his side (because people still listen to the radio?), and took him to a mortuary to prove a point. Oliver told him, "I brought you here because of death, because there's a problem here." They were there to inspect the xxx-large caskets made for the obese. The massive, steel-reinforced caskets can't fit inside regular hearses and have to be transported in the back of cargo vans, and at that size, cemeteries require double plots. Says Oliver: "I hope that Rod's starting to see why this little, annoying, pumped-up British boy is here. It ain't about cooking lettuce. The food revolution is about saving lives."
