Wolfgang Puck files an exclusive hour-by-hour diary of the prep and service of yesterday's Governor's Ball dinner for Esquire. Of note: Wolfie's chef's coat was specially created by Oscar-winning costume designer Jeffrey Kurland for the occasion, only ten vegetarian meals were prepared for the 1,500 person dinner, Puck's teenage son served as his commis all day, and, yes, Wolfgang took time during the busy event to personally congratulate fellow Austrian Christoph Waltz on his Best Supporting Actor win for Inglorious Basterds.
