Video Games

americastestkitchen1.jpg PBS's America's Test Kitchen finally gets the video game treatment. While the new electronic version of the show for the Ninetndo DS doesn't include a lot of fast-paced cooking action, it does offer tips and video demos on how to prepare over 300 of the program's most famous recipes! Just think—instead of having your kids waste hours and hours playing a violent, brain-melting game, they could be picking up a few kitchen skills from one of the great masters of traditional American cuisine—Christopher Kimball. But, parents, be warned: Although it is rated "E" for everybody, the game does contain an "alcohol reference." [The Food Section]
