On Friday afternoon, the Houston Press announced that food critic Robb Walsh — who's been with the paper for almost ten years— has moved to "freelance" status. Curiously, Walsh uses harsher language on his blog, writing that he's "no longer employed at the Houston Press." Walsh has been nominated several times for Beard Awards during his tenure with the Press, including this year in the multimedia food feature category for his piece, "Not So Clear Cut".
