Sexy Butchers

Today Josh Ozersky takes a look at the home-butchering trend that's sweeping the nation these days. While he concedes that there is a lot to appreciate about the movement, the he adds that notion of "the sexy butcher" is kind of ridiculous: "This is also the age of rock star butchers, as they've been dubbed by everybody from the Times to Nightline. Sure, the DIY meat man may have oomph and sex appeal. But how many butcher groupies are really out there going weak-kneed at the sight of some tattooed he-man at work on a lamb carcass?" [TIME]
