Photographic Evidence of Guy Fieri's Visit to the White House

New, 1 comment

A few weeks ago, we learned that Guy Fieri was going to drive his big red Cadillac all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for a private tet-a-tet with the Obamas. The trip was supposed to be an "off the record" visit, an opportunity for Guy and his son to cook some of the Fieri family classics for the White House staff. The visit strangely created little noise in the media. White House-centric food blog Obama Foodorama confirmed the Kulinary Gangsta's visit, but other than that, no other info on the dinner party slipped out. Until now.

Chef's Work, a company that makes kitchen uniforms, tweeted this photo a few days ago of the Spikey One in the White House kitchen, preparing what must have been the most rock-and-roll, cedar-planked, wasabi-drenched meal ever served to any president, ever. As we can tell from the photo, Guy even entertained the staff by singing a little opera. Either that or he had to sneeze —or maybe both at once. At any rate, clearly, the White House kitchen will never be the same again.
