José Andrés Talks Success, Coming to America With $50

In a new video for the Washington Post's Success series, D.C.-based Spanish cooking king José Andrés chats a bit about his rise as a chef, and what his goals are for food outside of his kitchen. He also mentions that he came to New York with $50 in his pocket, and says that it is important for a chef to have a healthy ego.
