The charming, cozy space you see above is the main dining room of Miami's Altamare, a reinvention of an area favorite which opened its doors to South Beach this week. The chef is Simon Stojanovic,—a vet of neighborhood hotspot Michael's Genuine—who will be preparing a menu of local seafood and elegant pasta dishes alongside savory and sweet creations from pastry chef Crystal Cullison, formerly of Ritz Carlton South Beach. The space features a semi-open kitchen, a long bar, and lots of soft lighting and dark, rich wood accents.
