Opinionated About Dining Names Most Important Restaurants

New, 1 comment

Steve Plotnicki and Opinionated About Dining have taken their annual stab at proclaiming the Most Important Restaurants in the country. Unsurprisingly, His Highness Thomas Keller takes the first two slots on the list of the 30, with Yountville's French Laundry and NYC's Per Se slotting #1 and #2, respectively. In addition to the Top 30—which is largely dominated by the New York contenders—Plotnicki also ranks the Top 15 of eight regions from around the country.

The list of the overall top 10 follows:

The Top 10:

1. French Laundry, The Yountville 100.00
2. Per Se New York 99.73
3. Masa New York 99.00
4. Manresa Los Gatos 98.53
5. Blue Hill at Stone Barns Pocantico Hills 98.50
6. Mini-Bar Washington, DC 98.48
7. Urasawa Beverly Hills 98.43
8. Jean Georges New York 98.30
9. Alinea Chicago 97.78
10. Corton New York 97.53
