Take a Tour of Faustina, Scott Conant's Newest Baby

The sleek, sophisticated space you see above is the dining room of Faustina in New York's Cooper Square Hotel, opening this week. Faustina is the newest project from Scarpetta's Scott Conant, who took over Govind Armstrong's ill-fated Table 8 space in the hotel less than two months ago. The bones are the same here, but Faustina differs from its predecessor most obviously in its color palette, the lighting, and its street side cafe. The menu is slightly more informal than at the NYC and Miami branches of Scarpetta, with items like fried chicken and short ribs featured along side some of the chef's signature pasta dishes.
