Please Welcome Krishna Lakshmi Into the World!

Congratulations to the lovely and talented Padma Lakshmi on the birth of her baby girl, Krishna Lakshmi. Padma gave birth to little Krishna on Saturday night at a hospital in New York City. As you may recall, Padma had been diagnosed with endometriosis-- a condition common among women who are infertile. It is perhaps fitting then that Ms. Lakshmi named her first born after one of the biggest deities in Hindu culture. Mazel Tov!
