So much Spanish news lately! While El Bulli's future remains murky at best, another Spanish Michelin-starred eatery has completely burned down. Mugaritz, the lauded Basque restaurant from chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, suffered a short-circuit fire that was apparently centered in the kitchen. The fire took two hours to put out and completely gutted the cooking area. Mugaritz currently holds a pair of Michelin stars, but perhaps more tellingly, San Pellegrino's annual Top 50 List placed it as the world's fourth best restaurant, behind only El Bulli, the UK's Fat Duck and Copenhagen's Noma.
