Magnolia Bakery Fulfills Manifest Destiny With 5 New Stores

Purveyor of overly-sweet cupcakes and pushers of an obsolescent notion of what constitutes both Sex and the City Magnolia Bakery is, per a tipster, planning five new locations: One in Chicago, one in Boston, one in Long Island, one in the Short Hills Mall (that's New Jersey, folks) and one in the uptown Bloomingdale's in New York City. This is, of course, in addition to their currently-existing Dubai, Los Angeles, and four New York City locations. Details are hazy at the moment, as hazy as a post-icing stupor.
