Happy Meals in Superior, Wisconsin will continue to entice children with their evil toys: the city council recently voted against an ordinance similar to the one being debated in San Francisco that sought to ban toys in fast food meals aimed at children. Why? Because everyone who spoke in favor of the ban came from outside the community.
The only council member who voted for the ban was Greg Mertzig, who also proposed it, and the four people who spoke in favor in front of the council were from Duluth. That's in Minnesota! Council member Tom Bridge said, "No one from Superior was in support of it." No one tells Wisconsinites they can't put cheap plastic trinkets in their kiddie combo meals!
