Fresh off the tip line: Bon Appétit's new editor-in-chief Adam Rapoport has tapped Christine Muhlke to be Executive Editor, effective January 3.
She leaves the New York Times, where she was the food editor of the New York Times Magazine, Deputy Editor at T, and Deputy Editor of T online. She also co-wrote Eric Ripert's cookbook/Le Bernardin scrapbook On the Line.
But it means two things: One, Rapaport bringing on Muhlke is a sign he's aiming for a more serious, Gourmet-like tone, and two, there's probably a new opening at the New York Times. Fire up those resumes!
