More end-of-year best cookbook lists! Everyone still likes René Redzepi's Noma, of course, but we're also starting to see more love for books that focus on specific kinds of food, namely baked goods and meat. San Francisco bakery Tartine's new cookbook, Tartine Bread by Chad Robertson, keeps popping up on lists with it's elaborate bread-making technique.
And on the East coast, Brooklyn bakers Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito second book Baked Explorations is a listicle regular as well. As for meat, Primal Cuts by Marissa Guggiana gets named quite a bit, as does James Peterson's Meat.
Check out The Daily Beast's slideshow, the New York Times holiday roundup, and cookbook author/blogger David Lebovitz's favorites. The Huffington Post gets all meta and merged a bunch of other people's best-of lists into a dizzying all-new best-of slideshow.
