Hong Kong and Macau Michelin Guide 2011

hong-kong-michelin-150.jpgThe Hong Kong and Macau 2011 Michelin Guide has been released, and in addition to adding four two stars and 19 one stars, the guide bestowed three stars on Cantonese restaurant Sun Tung Lok. The thing is, the place serves the controversial shark fin soup. Says Michelin guide director Jean-Luc Naret, "We understand the controversy and we're not trying to promote shark's fin, but fine Cantonese cooking." [Bloomberg]
