Exploding Escargot Lawsuit Dismissed

escargot-150.jpgHere's an update to lawsuit over the exploding escargot at the Marin County restaurant Seafood Peddler: The case has been dismissed "with prejudice" by a judge. Citing a 1992 court case over a chicken bone in an enchilada as precedent, the judge said there's a "reasonable expectation of the presence and, thus potential personal injury, due to hot grease in orders of escargot which are prepared and served with 'hot garlic butter.'"
