A California prison inmate claimed to be celebrating Festivus, the December 23 holiday first introduced on Seinfeld in order to receive an upgrade to kosher meals (he didn't like the salami meals). And it worked! Until officials decided the claim "probably wasn't legitimate." Nice try? [KTLA via LA Weekly]
