The fast-casual minimalistic London-based noodle chain Wagamama, with over 90 restaurants around the world — including three in the Boston area — announced the desire to expand to a whopping 650 locations in the United States. The company's chief executive said the plan is on "expanding mainly on the East Coast at first" and that "Boston alone could cater for 40 restaurants." There's no timetable or specific details or anything, but one can only assume this means New York City is in the crosshairs of Wagamama's noodly expansion plan.
