To brine or not to brine? That is the Thanksgiving question. Some think it's ineffective and just gives you an enormous tub of turkey-flavored E. coli water that you have throw out, and others think it's the only way to rescue a sad, flavorless bird.
On one side, Midwest-based Iron Chef Michael Symon who implores, "dont brine your turkey!!" One the other side, cherubic Iron Chef Mario Batali, who thinks Symon is wrong. Batali calls Symon "keilbasa boy," Symon tells Batali to "stick to pasta," and they go back and forth for a while.
