Every year, the holidays seem to start earlier and earlier, but Starbucks has decided that the start of the holiday season is November 2nd, apparently, as the coffee chain rolled out its holiday promotions today. For the uninitiated, this means the full range of Starbucks holiday lattes (Gingerbread, Eggnog, Peppermint, Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha, and Pumpkin Spice), all kinds of Starbucks-branded holiday gift items, a new holiday-blend VIA, and, of course, the red holiday to-go cups. Hooray holiday-themed environmental destruction!

People are really excited about this on Twitter. Like, really. One customer was "literally having an anxiety attack" waiting in line at the coffee chain. Who knew red cups and egg nog-flavored coffee drinks could be so exciting? Maybe everyone should just buy some red markers and start doodling.
