FoodBuzz, a blog network which has 4,400 independent food blogs to its name, has been acquired by Federated Media Publishing, a much larger advertising network that works with sites like Serious Eats and Boing Boing. Why food blogs? Because "Food is a universal topic that everyone loves to discuss." Q.E.D.!
Federated Media is in the midst of acquiring all kinds of stuff, including lifestyle blog network Clever Girls Collective. This doesn't seem to mean much for FoodBuzz's bloggers right off the bat, but we're curious to see what happens when it's time to resign contracts.
