Famed Chicago chef Laurent Gras confirmed that he is officially out at his restaurant L20 just days after the Michelin Guide awarded him a coveted three star ranking. He tells Food & Wine that he's moving to New York to work on a "very interesting project (or two)."
The move is not really a surprise given the fact that he went on a "break" from the restaurant two weeks ago and that his wife lives in New York. Eater Chicago caught up with L20's owner Rich Melman last night who was surprised when asked about the potential move: "As far as I know he's doing nothing, but resting."
